One of my favorite parts about this job is seeing all of the joy and excitement that a couple and their families share on a wedding day. There is no greater honor than to capture those cherished life moments on the biggest day of a person's life. My other favorite part of this job, is seeing and hearing about how much they love the photos once they get them back. Of course I love taking photos, and I love the final product... but to hear that others really love them as well - really makes my day, AND confirms for me that I'm in the right career. :)
The wedding shows this year were my favorite so far. After each one I just left feeling really encouraged. I love hearing the positive comments about our albums & booth. I love it when people say, "oh, you did so and so's wedding and I absolutely
love the photos" or they tell us that they've already been scoping out our website and our portfolio for quite some time now. My favorite is when we're in public, without our photo gear in hand, and people recognize us and say, "I remember you, you shot my friends wedding! The pictures are amazing." - it's little things like that - that truly make my day. So for all of you who have ever complimented my work.... I remember those comments, and I thank you! It means so much!
We are so blessed. Here are a few recent features and recognitions that show that others appreciate our work and expertise as well!

We are in the top five percent of all vendors on weddingwire.com, and received this bride's choice award from them. We also won an award from onewed.com, "Best of 2009"

A new issue of the Yakima Valley Bride came out last month, and many of our pictures are featured in the magazine! This story is featuring Katrina & Stephen, a wedding we shot in Ellensburg last November.

This story is featuring Sarah & Noland, a wedding we shot at Suncadia last October.

Did any of you catch this article in the Herald from Monday, Feb. 8th? It's about planning a wedding on a budget - which Tavis and I certainly know a thing or two about. :) We gave some advice from both a personal and a business aspect... and it also highlights Amanda's wedding & Sara's wedding, both of which we're doing the photo & video for this summer! If you would like to view the article online, you may do so
here.Again, thanks to everyone who has supported us and pushed us along with encouragement and kind words.
