Q: During the mini session, can we do both family shots & individual shots of the kids?A: Yes! Tavis and I will work together to get a few "smile here" family shots, a few candid shots, then we can split off and do individual kids, each kid with each parent, or just the couple.
Q: Can we have this mini session offer on a different day?
A: The mini sessions are offered at a discounted price because they are all at the same place and with a shorter timeframe. If you're looking for more variety with your session, you may want to consider scheduling a full hour session at the location of your choice. Hour sessions start at $95, or sessions + digital images start at $195.
Q: Our disc is to print up to 5x7, what if we want larger prints and products?
A: We will hold on to your family photos for 6 months after the session. During that time you're welcome to order prints and products through us. We can email you a detailed list of our prints and products, but just to give you an idea, our loose print 8x10 is $20, 11x14 is $40, etc.
Q: 20 minutes isn't very long, will we get enough pictures during this time?
A: Yes, we're pretty quick :) In 20 minutes we will be able to get individual shots of each child, a few "posed" smile here family photos, plus some candid family photos. Like it's mentioned above, if you're looking for more variety you may want to consider a longer session on a different day.
Q: What happens if my kids are fussy the whole 20 minutes?
A: We do our best to get and keep the kids happy during the session, but there's always a possibility that the kids won't want to cooperate. We will still photograph you and your kids during the session and get you the disc of the best images.
Q: These days don't work for me, when will you offer mini sessions again?
A: We do not have any other mini sessions scheduled at this time. In the past we have just done one set of them per year.
Q: What if it rains?
A: We will be there rain or shine!
Q: Can we bring our pets?
A: Yes as long as they don't eat the flowers and you pick up their messes :)
Q: What is the difference between this year's mini session and last year's?
A: Last year we offered longer sessions but limited the disc to only 10 chosen images. This year we're doing a shorter time but offering all of the edited images on a disc to print up to 5x7.
Q: What type of setting is the Spring Creek Homestead?
A: The Spring Creek is a historic site that was recently restored and opened to the public for weddings and other events. (http://www.springcreekhomestead.com/) The area where we will be taking the photos is along the creek, on the grass, around the bridge, or with other green areas. The pictures will have a nature/park setting. Here's a wedding photo we shot there earlier this year so you can get an idea of the space:
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Session Fee: The session fee is required to reserve a timeslot. If you cancel, the session fee is refundable up until 14 days before the shoot. If you would like to change times, you may request to change up to 7 days before the shoot, based on our availability. If something comes up last minute, you can gift it to another family of 6 people or less to take your place.
Online Gallery: The online gallery of images will be available for six months after the date it is posted.
Print Orders: The mini session fee does not include any prints. All prints and products must be ordered separately, and photo orders typically take 2-4 weeks to come back from the lab.
Model Release: We reserve the right to display any photographs taken in conjunction with this session as samples of our work for the purposes of advertising. This includes promotion on the internet.
Public Usage of Photos: If you post or publish your photos publicly (electronically or in print) it must be cited as the work of Memory Montage Photography. This includes Facebook, magazines, photo contests, etc. You may not edit, modify or create derivative works of the copyrighted photos.
