Yakima Photographer:: 2011 Senior Megan sneak peek!

Megan is an AMAZING senior. During the session I kept asking her, "are you sure you're not a model?" Her confidence in posing and spunky little attitude led me to believe she was a pro. When she first inquired about senior pictures and I asked her, "what is your style? what type of photos are you looking for?" she said, "I would love pictures that are unique and different. I want the picture to capture who I am at this point in my life so I can look back and remember my senior year. I am game for anything really, so I am willing to take risks to get an awesome shot." And she did just that.

Yakima Senior Photographer:: Manny's Senior Pictures

Emmanuel Rodriguez is a senior at Toppenish High School. He is one of our senior reps this year. Let me tell you, this kid loves life and lives it to it's fullest. He is involved in almost everything you can think of at school, church, and in the community. I asked him about his activities and he said, "I sing on my church's worship team which I absolutely love, and I enjoy helping out in Children's Church, and at all of our Youth Group's fund-raising activities! I was ASB Vice President for the 2009-2010 school year and recently was elected ASB President for the upcoming school year. Student Leadership pumps me up and I hold offices in clubs such as Youth Alive (Christian Club), NHS (National Honor Society), Peer Counselors, and T.A.T.U. (Teens Against Tobacco Use). I've played tennis at my high school for the past 3 years and have been on the Varsity Squad for the past 2 years. I try and seek every opportunity of Community Service that comes my way and am proud to say that I have volunteered almost 300 hours over my high school career. I was this years Yearbook Co-Editor and I love working with my hands and being creative through, music, performing school productions on stage, giving speeches, Emceeing community events and through other art related activities. After College I wish to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy!" yes, he is amazing. check out the pics!

The other random info::

-To every wedding we bring extension cords, small props, and snacks. I also bring the couple's unique family portrait shots list + all other notes & info I've collected about them & their wedding.

-Our pelican case weighs as much as a kindergartener.

-Our favorite lens is.....all of them. Really, we love them all for different reasons. If I had to shoot an entire wedding with one lens I think I could pull it of with the 50 1.2 (but I won't ever shoot a wedding with just one lens, I'm too picky.)

Seven years in the making:: LisaRene & Brad finally tie the knot!

LisaRene & Brad were married at the Selah United Methodist Church on Saturday... with a reception at the Ahtanum Youth Park. Her theme was "fall in love" with lots of red, orange & yellow decor, leaves & all. I remember just about a year ago we took their engagement pictures and they mentioned how they had just passed their "neggative one year anniversary" because it was close to exactly a year before their wedding, and that year sure did go by fast!

All of the details of the wedding day fell right into place without any problems. Besides the grass being a little wet & muddy for pictures there weren't any apparent wedding day glitches at all which is great! here is a glimpse of the best day of their lives.... it was so hard to pick my favorites with so many good ones to choose from::

I loved this wall of stained glass!

{Siblings shot! Thumbs up pose at their request.}
