This is an engagement photo blog!!!!

January-May this year have been our busiest months for scheduling engagement sessions so we've just been shooting session after session after session. Every couple is different... sometimes we get the shy bride and loud groom.... sometimes it's a shy groom and an enthusiastic bride... sometimes it's a goofy couple that can't stop laughing... sometimes it's a simple couple.... sometimes it's calm couple that we have to make laugh.... ... ya know, I just never know what I'm in for at the start of a session. :)

Desiree and Chris came prepared with a plan to help Chris relax and smile for pictures.... which involved a glass of wine at the start, and a stepdad to come along and help make him laugh. I think he did well! I'd say at the start of the engagement session 90% of couples say something like, "it's going to be hard to make him smile, he doesn't like pictures" but it ALWAYS turns out ok. We just have to be creative and catch the laughter in between to avoid the fake smiles from those grooms ;-)

 Can't you just see the laughter in this picture! Desiree's laugh is contagious, I love it!!
