You'd think that photographers would love having their picture taken... but from personal experience I know that when I'm on the "wrong" side of the camera I feel really awkward and don't know what to do. {and I'm pretty sure there are other photographers out there who can relate} I like to be in control of the session so I must feel too vulnerable when I don't know what the pose looks like and I can't immediately see what the pictures look like. :)

My sister in-law, Kira Baron, took these photos of me the day I got my eyelash extensions from Aubrey Childers:

Leavenworth wedding at the Sleeping Lady

On Saturday we had our first wedding at the Sleeping Lady in Leavenworth, WA. I know it's a popular destination for Leavenworth weddings, but I had never seen the place before! They have a beautiful area up there with lots of space in the mountains by the river. Besides a few sprinkles here and there, Saturday was the perfect day for shooting! The girls got ready on site, and both the ceremony and reception were in the same building. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:

^^^ Erica had this beautiful long train, so I knew I wanted to use it creatively for some fun shots!

^^^ This is their son, Ryan. He's such a sweetheart! I loved hanging out with him!

^^^ Sasha loves fishes, so this shot was a must ;-)

^^^ This is the shot after we said, "do a crazy face" and Erica sticks her tongue in Sasha's ear, :)
