Let's be honest, our default angle is to stand in front of the object or person and snap away. Ok ok maybe you throw in a few kneeling shots too. Don't get me wrong, both of those angles are valid positions to shoot in, but you could take it to the next level.
Here are a few reasons why you might not want to try new angles.
-Afraid you will look silly
-Might draw attention to yourself
-You might get injured
-You might get dirty
-The picture "might" not be what the client want

Here are a few reasons to go for it.
-You get a picture everyone else was afraid to take
-Your client thinks you're crazy (I think this is a good thing)
-You have more fun during shoots
-Exercise
-Most importantly you begin to look at the subject in a new way and are no longer limited by 1 or 2 angles!

So here is the challenge, the next time you whip out your camera to take a photo don't go for the easy default angle.....try something new.
Here are a few videos and pictures of me "trying something new" / being crazy :)
