Las Caletas Wedding Photographer // Eliza & Joseph

Las Caletas: A relaxing secluded area surrounded by jungle, sunshine and a view of the ocean. When Eliza first told me about this amazing place she said, “Las Caletas is not a town, village, or beach, it's Utopia. There are no roads, there is no electricity. There are trails amongst tropical rainforest that connect the viewpoints, hammocks, orchid gardens, a zipline, flatgrounds for yoga, the bridal suite and the gazebo. Las Caletas is a place in a small cove, a 45 minute boat ride from the heart of Puerto Vallarta, MX. It's heaven! At night, the staff lights up Caletas with countless candles and tiki torches, and neon blue phytoplankton often light up the water." Yes, Utopia!

The Las Caletas wedding package included a wedding planner that stayed nearby all day. She met us at the boat terminal around 9am, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The bride, MOB and bridesmaids took the first trip out on the boat provided by Vallarta Adventures. When we arrived at the little cove we were greeted by a parrot and a welcoming staff. Tavis and I were VERY impressed by the staff, food and atmosphere at Las Caletas. A true getaway! 

This is the most luxurious bridal suite we’ve ever visited…. When I walked in with the bride and bridesmaids, all we could say was “wow”. Comfortable, spacious, hot tub outside, spa next door, and they even had a nice steamer there! May not seem like a big deal, but it’s necessary for the bridesmaids dresses that had traveled a long way. :)
