  4. I got my first DLSR (Canon 50D) on my 20th birthday (2010) from my husband (he purchased it from Best Buy.)

  8. What is a DSLR? Amanda??????

    1. DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex. It's the type of digital camera we require for our classes (one with a detachable lens, etc.)

  9. Eric and I bought our first DSLR (Canon EOS 50D) in Oceanside CA right after his second tour to Iraq. We loved exploring and taking different pictures with it! Now we are learning lots more about it and capturing pictures of Bridger as he grows :)

  10. I got my first DSLR for Christmas about 7 years ago. My camera is old, but it is perfect for learning, and it has helped me to get some amazing shots of my beautiful family as we have grown over the years!

  11. I just got my first DSLR (Canon EOS 60D) for Christmas and am TOTALLY overwhelmed with it. I have only had point and shoot cameras in the past. Looking forward to learning how it works!

  12. I ordered my Canon Rebel on Ebay. Used, but you couldnt ever tell! I've had it for about 2 yeras (same age as my daughter) but I still shoot on auto most the time, and my iphone is more accessible... if I knew how to use it better I'm sure I would get it out more!
