class description:This class introduces you to photography fundamentals, composition, and the use of light. We will help you understand your basic camera function and camera settings (like aperture, shutter speed, and ISO). This class is for the beginner to intermediate photographer with an SLR camera. It's perfect for anyone who has a love for photography and is ready to take their skill to the next level. If you've ever said, "I have a nice camera, but I don't know how to use it!" THIS is the class for you! During this class we will have the opportunity to photograph a live model, talk about our exact lighting and camera settings, and review the posing and client interaction as well. We help you process and solidify some basic camera functions and photography topics with real life scenarios, demonstrations, peer interaction and hands on learning. The tuition for this all day event is $89. Space is limited, and registration will close once full. Come join us for a fun day of creative learning!

I got my first DSLR about 3 years ago. I bought it used from a friend and a year later, invested in a brand new one for myself :)

ReplyDeleteI got my first DSLR after using one at work for awhile and wanting one of my own! Not a cute story, but I use it almost daily now for shooting my twins and local families who need affordable pictures.

ReplyDeleteI got my first DSLR camera about 6 years ago from a friend who upgraded. It was a Fuji finepix. I've since upgraded one year ago to a Canon Rebel...and got a new 50mm lens this year!!

ReplyDeleteDSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex. It's the type of digital camera we require for our classes (one with a detachable lens, etc.)
DeleteEric and I bought our first DSLR (Canon EOS 50D) in Oceanside CA right after his second tour to Iraq. We loved exploring and taking different pictures with it! Now we are learning lots more about it and capturing pictures of Bridger as he grows :)
ReplyDeleteI got my first DSLR for Christmas about 7 years ago. My camera is old, but it is perfect for learning, and it has helped me to get some amazing shots of my beautiful family as we have grown over the years!
ReplyDeleteI just got my first DSLR (Canon EOS 60D) for Christmas and am TOTALLY overwhelmed with it. I have only had point and shoot cameras in the past. Looking forward to learning how it works!
ReplyDeleteI ordered my Canon Rebel on Ebay. Used, but you couldnt ever tell! I've had it for about 2 yeras (same age as my daughter) but I still shoot on auto most the time, and my iphone is more accessible... if I knew how to use it better I'm sure I would get it out more!
