Tavis and I photographed this engagement session earlier this month, and it didn't stop raining AT ALL. Six years ago, rain was stressful for photo taking, but now days, rain just inspires creativity! We did a bunch of things we haven't done before because we had to keep these two as dry as possible. This session felt like hanging out with old friends on a Sunday afternoon even though we had just met in person for the first time that day. They were great sports about the weather and the things we had them do - I love the energy and the happiness in these photos! Dancing in the rain.... snuggling under porches... running through parking lots.... we had a great time! Thank you to my friends Sara & Eileen for letting us use your covered areas, and thank you Carley & Andrew for coming from Seattle! :)

Rhiann and Haley photographed this wedding last month and it was one of my favorite weddings of the year- You can just see the happiness radiating from the photos, and I love all of the unique places they had for picture backdrops. The photographers ventured into some territory we've never used before! I really loved what the couple chose to do during the unity part of the ceremony. - they each stamped their thumbs into a Bible, which is very cool and something we've never seen before. I also have a special place in my heart for these photos because I love Yorkies too, and I loved how the dog was included in so many engagement and wedding photos!
