Beecher Hill House Wedding in Peshastin, WA || Carissa + Tyler || A Harry Potter Themed Wedding

Rhiann and Haley photographed this wedding at Beecher Hill House in Peshastin, WA. The bride tastefully sported a beautiful Lainee Meg Bridal Gown and Betsey Johnson shoes. Carissa and Tyler were married on May 23rd and their wedding was a clever and creative balance of wedding elegance and Harry Potter themes. The bride made a detailed Marauders Map and every guest was given the "Daily Prophet." The bride and all the bridesmaids wore Harry Potter rings and they also had a "homemade" Harry Potter themed photo booth! :)

It was evident that joy was the theme of the day. There was laughter practically non-stop all day. Everyone laughed at everything! :) The groom was very humorous, and the groom's father wore a Hello Kitty hat that had everyone giggling. Carissa and Tyler have been together for six years and it was evident that they were excited to spend forever together too.

Congratulations Carissa and Tyler! What a treat for us to be there to capture the special moments of your day. We wish you the very best!

Le Chateau Wedding in Yakima, WA || Emily + Owen

Prepare yourself for a lot of fun, LOVE, and color! Because this confetti themed wedding was FULL of all three! The confetti theme seemed to suit the joyful tone of the day perfectly! And, it was a great reflection of the bright and fun personalities of the bride and groom too. Emily and Owen seemed like the perfect fit for each other. In fact, we heard this statement resoundingly declared from Emily's two matron of honor and Owen's two best men during the toasts. And yes, they each had two "besties" supporting them during the day. :) This wedding was full of wholesome fun, genuine love and a strong sense of family. The air was full of excitement and everyone was pleased with the marriage of these two people.

Emily and Owen had their wedding at 11:00am and it was followed by a brunch reception. They even had heart shaped waffles! The decorations were creative and bright, the bride elegantly wore her tea length dress and showed off her cute blue heals, the groom's brothers (best men) were hilarious, there were lots of adorable babies, the bride's mom made the quilt that was the backdrop for their photo booth, and their cake was covered in sprinkles! Doesn't that just sound like fun? It was!

Emily and Owen also have quite the family legacy with both parents married around or over 30 years, and both grandparents married for more than 60 years! Emily and Owen met while doing mission work and they both still work for Athletes in Action.

This is the quilt Emily's mom made. So bright and colorful! Perfect for this confetti themed wedding!

These were pictures that the bridesmaids and the groomsmen specifically requested. The bridesmaids are reenacting the exact picture  on the cover of the "Bridesmaids" movie, and the men wanted a punk band pose. So fun!

Summer Wedding at the Yakima Arboretum || Soneya + Pete

Yakima Wedding Photographers

This was a bright and cheerful wedding at the Yakima Arboretum. The theme was navy and preppy pink. They set up their own photo booth with super cute props. Their guestbook was unlike anything we'd ever seen...it was a peacock and people signed the feathers. They also had many fun games and activities set up during the reception. D'lish Catering prepared an amazing spread with some of the best appetizers we've ever had! Throughout the day, we learned that one thing that made Soneya laugh is when Pete pretended to be Creed and sang to her.

Soneya owns the salon where she and her bridesmaids got ready and Pete teaches third grade in Sunnyside. Everyone said they were like ying and yang...totally opposite but perfect for each other. As if getting married wasn't exciting enough, these two are also 16 weeks pregnant with a baby boy! They plan on naming him "Nate," after Soneya's late father. What joy these two can revel in as they delight in their new marriage and the coming of their baby!
