"He surely adores her!" This was the comment photographer Amy made as she reflected on this wedding. The groom's love for the bride was evident, as was the bride's return of affection! He is from Texas and she is from Montana. Somewhere along the lines they met while working at a job in Portland and moved to Auburn. Needless to say, their family and guests came from all over the place to be present to witness and celebrate their union.
Amy commented, "Drew has a very thoughtful, nostalgic, and creative side. He had tons of fun ideas for photos including recreating one of his dad on his dad's wedding day. He gave Bernice a gift right before the first look, which included a jar with 100 blue papers and titled it, '100 things I love about you.' As a couple they are laid back and their cool personalities made for a stress free and fun day! They are both very funny and their interactions with each other and their bridal party kept us laughing all day!"
Ritter Farms is a rustic setting amidst pine trees, horses, wide open fields, mountains and an elegant barn. Bernice and Drew perfectly accented this beautiful Cle Elum, WA location with pine cones, sunflowers, wooden centerpieces and a wooden guestbook. The bride's earrings and necklace were Montana Sapphire and they were a gift from her dad to her mom...thus, the earrings and necklace alone covered the "something old, something borrowed and something blue" tradition. During the vows, Drew pulled out a scroll and read it aloud to Bernice, her gleeful reaction was priceless!
