Rhiann and Haley photographed this wedding at Cascade Gardens here in Yakima, WA.
As the photographers reflected on the couple and on the day, Rhiann shared, "Nicole is truly one of the sweetest most genuine people I've ever met. I'm pretty sure she lights up any room with her positive attitude and easy smile. She is a true woman who loves pink and anything Princess. She is very close to her sister and both families were very involved in the planning, which was great to see. They all got along so well."
A few unique details from this wedding: The heart that was sown inside of the bride's dress was from her dad's shirt and the ring bearer's pillow was made from the same material. Very sadly, her father passed away six years ago, but it was so special to have his memory included in their wedding in such a beautiful way. Also, Nicole's grandma made her veil, but it was originally made for her aunt's wedding...And now Nicole got to wear it at her wedding! There was also a handkerchief that her grandmother made that was used as a backdrop for some of the bridal detail pictures.
During the first dances, in honor of her father's absence, all of Nicole's uncles surprised her and stood up to dance with her. It was so touching!
A particularly funny moment of the day happened during the bouquet toss. Throughout the day, Nicole's older sister made it clear that she was going to catch the bouquet. This was so emphasized, that right before she tossed the bouquet, Nicole turned around so she could aim at her sister. As the bouquet flew through the air, Reedy's sister totally intercepted the toss and the pictures show that Nicole's sister was not too happy about it...Too funny!
Nicole and Reedy, we are so excited for you both! Enjoy honeymooning in Jamaica!
