What a beautiful day! Sarah and Dan were married on October 10, 2015. Lachelle and Keith photographed this wedding at Winn Homestead in Weston, OR. As we drove up to the venue we were shocked by the country beauty and the many wonderful portrait locations! This family owned venue was just perfect. When the bride was in high school, she remembered when she first drove by Winn Homestead and was captivated. She later found out that it was a wedding venue and always dreamed of getting married there...And last weekend, her dream came true!
Their wedding colors were navy blue and forest green (Seahawks!) with pops of sunflowers to brighten things up. They had a homemade photobooth and a delicious desert and hot drink bar. The bride wore her great great grandmother's locket in her hair as her something old, the groom wore Dr. Who cuff links, and they are honeymooning in Vancouver and Victoria. We also had the pleasure of working with Kelly Rosenkranz of Kelly's Coordinating for the day of wedding planning.
The bride and groom are kind and fun and love people. Their love for each other was unmistakable and they both took great pleasure in their wedding celebration. In her toast, the bride's sister and Matron of Honor said, "Dan makes my sister happy." And then she turned to Dan and said, "Thank you." It was evident that their families were celebrating with them.
Cheers to your marriage Mr. And Mrs. Wolcott!
