The best family sessions are spontaneous and unscripted. Of course we talk about what to wear and what to expect, but we don’t come in with any huge plans or expectations because you never know how things will go…. Usually the young kids’ personalities just dictate the session and that’s what happened with the Tumas! Mr. Theo was cracking us up because he’s the happiest smiley baby, while big sister Adeline had some “smiling confusion”… It was either a wide open mouth thinking she was smiling, or we said “smile” and her eyebrows went down. We all got a kick out of it! I loved her cute little outfit, boots, blue eyes and blonde hair out in that field. Adeline will be 2 this month on the 18th.
Some of my favorite photos were in between the “pose” and just getting the family interacting, trying to make each other smile and loving on each other. As a momma I of course know the love these parents feel for these kids and I am honored to tell their family story through photographs. I’ve been friends with Hanna for over ten years now so it’s been awesome having kids around the same time and I get to love on her babies too! I’m so so so glad they had us photograph their family this fall at Eschbach in Naches. The sun peeked out for just enough time for me to get some sweet sunny photos plus lots of other variety.
