Mike proposed to Justine on Christmas of 2015 and they were married at the American Homestead in Naches on May 21st, 2016. Family, friendship and heritage were themes the couple thoughtfully threaded throughout the ceremony. Mike's family has an antique spoon that has been passed down for generations. The spoon was hidden in the bridal bouquet that Justine carried down the aisle. We were also able to capture some beautiful photographs of a blue pendant that belonged to Justine's grandmother. Justine left a gift of silver cuff-links for the groom to wear and was surprised to receive a diamond pendant from her groom!
The bridal party had lots of laughs and kept the mood of the day lighthearted. Before the wedding, the couple had shared with us how much they enjoy dynamic and candid photography. The bridal party, especially the groomsmen, made sure there were plenty of opportunities for them. During the ring ceremony, the officiate started with, "repeat after me... I can't feel my face when I'm with you," she repeated... "But I love it." - quoting a popular song that is out right now. After throwing some humor into this serious occasion, the bride and groom exchanged very meaningful and emotional vows. Justine & Mike - thank you for having us as a part of your wedding! May your love continue to grow and remain ever strong!
