Walla Walla Wedding Photographers

Sarah and Isaiah were married at Mill Creek Gardens in Walla Walla, Washington on June 10, 2016. Mill Creek Gardens was so fun to explore with its gorgeous scenery, secluded woods, bubbling brooks and open fields. The day started with heavy rain, but as time went on, the skies cleared and we couldn't have had a better day!

Words can't even begin to describe the joy, sweetness and unity of Sarah and Isaiah's wedding. Everything about the day was memorable. The bride was absolutely stunning and the groom exceedingly kind. Both of them are adventurous and fun. Our time with them was a blast! And at one point Isaiah and one of our very own Memory Montage Photographers, Keith, ended up in the river!

The bride and groom were so dreamy together and have such obvious affection and love for each other. They met in high school and have been dating for two years. The toasts from the sister of the bride, best man, and the father of the bride literally had most of the audience crying. They were so heartfelt and full of love.

It was all around a perfect day. Incredibly God honoring and beautiful. It is always humbling when we get to experience two beautiful people, from two wonderful families, come together as husband and wife. Words can't express the deep beauty of this day. 

Keith and I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Sarah's sister and brother-in-law (Anna and Cooper Kupp) last year in June, and what a treat it was to be reunited with such a wonderful family again! We also enjoyed working alongside Riley and Paige of Articulate Film Co. who are family friends. Isaiah and Sarah, may God bless your marriage immensely! May every day of your ordinary lives be even more extraordinary than your captivating wedding!

Beautiful Backyard Wedding in Naches || Savannah + Louis

Tavis and I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful outdoor wedding at a private residence in Naches, Washington. This home has lots of family history and the bride and groom could not have imagined starting out their life together anywhere else. The house is where Savannah's parents have lived for many, many, years and where they first brought Savannah home after she was born. The couple's friends and family have millions of memories from here and the surrounding Naches Valley. Most of the photos you will see in this blog were taken at Savannah's parents property, but we also drove around to a nearby barn, orchard and a delightful view location.

Savanah's father, Harvey, is from Hawaii and many family and friends wore a traditional Hawaiian lei to honor the families' heritage. The beauty of each individual flower is not lost when it becomes a part of the lei, but is enhanced because of the strength of its bond. The Aloha Spirit is central to the Hawaiian culture and exemplifies the commitment to treat oneself and others with kindness, respect and love. The leis, fresh flowers, and beautiful gold and white accents brought elegance to this backyard wedding!

Savannah and Louis are both very thoughtful and the love they have cultivated shines though in the way they interact with one another. It was basically love at first sight. Louis knew he wanted to marry Savannah shortly after meeting her!

Savannah is very close with her friends, many of whom she has know since childhood! They have all been in each other's weddings in the past few years. This intimacy and fellowship made for wonderful tributes when it came time for sharing. The speeches and toasts were some of the funniest and most meaningful speeches that I have heard in a long time. Each person who spoke had both a funny story and a sentimental blessing for the couple.

D'lish catering was amazing! They set up the most elaborate appetizer bar, including their infamous sweet and spicy bacon. Once you've had it, you'll never forget it! Wonderful food, friends and family made for a beautiful backyard wedding. Congratulations Savannah and Louis!

Gorgeous Cedarbrook Lodge Wedding in Seattle || Shauna + Ryan

Seattle Wedding Photographers

Shauna and Ryan's wedding was intimate and filled with many traditions. Shauna and Ryan had only known each other for a month and knew they were meant to be together. After only one month, they decided to be married and begin their lives together as husband and wife! Family and friends agreed and were more than happy to join them in celebrating this new beginning.

Cedarbrook Lodge was a perfect venue for this occasion and the Seattle sunshine shone brightly on their outdoor ceremony as they took their vows. Shauna wore her mom's pendant and also honored her late mother with a lei on a chair during the ceremony and reception.

There was more laughing during family pictures than Tavis and I have ever heard! It was refreshing to be with a bride who is giddy about photographs. She loved everything we were doing and made us feel very appreciated! Guests were so happy for Shauna and Ryan as their love and appreciation for one another was apparent. 

Friends and family honored the newlyweds with several toasts at the reception and one was a traditional Korean toast. Shauna and Ryan played a game at the reception that had everyone laughing and made for some very fun photos! What a lovely group of people who were genuinely glad to be together celebrating and loving one another. Congratulations Shauna and Ryan! We were so glad to capture these special moments with you!
