Cle Elum Wedding at The Cattle Barn // Liz + Brian Inderbitzin

Navy and Grey Wedding

Lachelle and Keith photographed this wedding at The Cattle Barn in Cle Elum on June 10th. The day was overflowing with love. Naturally, you expect love to be shown at weddings, but this one was significant. We were constantly impressed by how authentic every person showed love. After parting from the Bride and Groom at the end of the day we quickly realized this wedding day was to be put as an all time favorite. Having the opportunity to be surrounded by such an amazing group of loyal friends and family was truly magnificent. This was the kind of wedding you leave and wish you knew the people personally, and that stood out to us.

Once we heard the Bride and Groom's story of how they met we knew it was going to be a special occasion. These two love birds first crossed eyes while riding the Seattle metro over three years ago. The Bride, Liz, referred to the Groom, Brian, as the "hot bus guy". She would often sneak photos of him to show her friends! Little did she know Brian referred to her as his "bus crush". After nine months of riding the bus everyday with each other they finally met in person and the rest is history. Brian currently resides as a firefighter and enjoys hunting, while Liz loves cats and is affectionately called the "crazy cat lady". All of her wedding day supplies were kept in a huge cat purse. The bridesmaids even had matching shirts with a picture of Liz holding a cat when she was younger! Liz assured us that her cat, Predator, adores her! There is no hiding this woman's love for cats. It is almost as strong as her love for Brian ;)

The details of the wedding were very thought out. Just a glimpse of what we saw...
  1. The lace on Liz's veil was handmade from Malta. Her dad's side of the family is Maltese, making this monumental.
  2. The Mother of the Bride handmade Liz's veil.
  3. Liz wore a pearl necklace that has been worn at five family weddings now. Starting with her great grandma. The pearls were given to her great grandma by her great grandpa on their wedding day.
  4. Many individual mini pies for the reception were made by the mother and aunt of the Bride. A huge hit with peach, apple, and blueberry pies...topped with ice cream!
  5. Many guests traveled from long distances for the wedding. Including friends and family from Norway, Canada, California, Texas, Montana, and more.
As stated above, all the details were so beautiful and heartfelt. When we heard of one detail, we would hear of another shortly after. What an engaging day to be involved with. Throughout the day we were most struck by the couple's deep relationships and friendships with the people in their bridal party as well as guests, and how they can make anything fun together as a couple. We had such a fantastic time getting to know Liz and Brian. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Inderbitzin!
