Naches Wedding at American Homestead // Julie + Reese Crenshaw

Teal, Gray and Blush Wedding
Tavis and Amy photographed this wedding on April 21st at American Homestead in Naches. Julie and Reese were such an enjoyable couple to spend the day alongside! The weather was a bit on the chilly side, which led to lots of cuddles with loved ones all day:) It was evident that their family and friends backed up these two as each others soul mates. Many of Julie's family flew all the way up from California. Weddings are always fun as they bring everyone together!

American Homestead has the perfect cabin to utilize as a bridal suite. The Make-up Boutique did the girl's makeup, and they looked fabulous! Miranda from Studio on Sixth styled Julie's hair. It was voluminous and curly; matching her bridal look perfectly. Alyson from Something Blue Floristry made AMAZING flowers for this event. Her gorgeous strapless dress was from Bellevue Bridal Boutique. The back was so pretty how it laced up! Julie had a garter with her gun and knife in it, as well as very tall red boots with special charms dedicated to loved ones not at the wedding. This girl was rockin'! One of our favorite moments was during the ceremony...they walked down the aisle to "Another One Bites the Dust"!

Julie and Reese had an awesome bridal party! Karen, her sister, Julie's friends Holly, Jensena and Ashley, and last but not least, her cousins Stacy and Amelia all made stunning bridesmaids. They were having a blast literally all day! Bryce, his brother, and friends Sean, Dale, Warren and Ryan were the groomsmen. They seemed to know exactly what to say and do in order to get a laugh out of Reese!

Cascade Catering made a delicious dinner per usual! Reese's sister-in-law, Elise, made the scrumptious cupcakes and beautiful cake. She did not disappoint! Pristine Entertainment had almost all the guests up and dancing! It was such an entertaining night! Mr. and Mrs. Crenshaw have a bright marriage ahead of them! Congratulations to the happy couple!

Union Gap Wedding at Spring Creek Homestead // Brooke + Rob Kerr

Navy, Blush and White Wedding

Rhiann and Cloey photographed Brooke and Rob's wedding on April 14th at Spring Creek Homestead in Union Gap. These two have been together for 5 years! What a pleasure to spend the day with such an on-fire couple!! The way Rob graciously loves Brooke, and vise versa, was so heartwarming to witness. Rob is a ridiculous sports fan...I'm talking hardcore; specifically rooting for Gonzaga. To honor his love for sports, Brooke had Gonzaga themed garters made. It was awesome!

Residing on the west side of the state, they chose to hold their wedding in Yakima since some of Brooke's family is from the area. The wedding was set up beautifully. In fact, it was one of the best weddings we have seen at this venue! We heard quite a few guests mention they flew in to join them for this special day!

IM Artistry drove from Seattle and did a fabulous job with Brooke and her girl's makeup. Belu Salon styled all of the girl's hair. They are always professional and positive to work alongside! After buying and returning two wedding dresses, Brooke finally found the perfect gown from The Wedding Bell in Tacoma. The shop personalized straps to put on the dress, and they looked beautiful! When her dress, jewelry, makeup, shoes and all the bridal details were in place, Sinclair Floral brought everything together with the gorgeous bouquet. Brooke looked absolutely stunning!

We loved that this Bride included her 4 nieces, Lily, Samara, Mary Grace and Ashtyn as flower girls. They looked darling in their matching dresses. It's always nice to see the Bride and Groom being surrounded by a supportive group of friends and family. Brooke had her best friend, Rochelle, as her maid of honor. The bridal party consisted of her three sisters, Sarah, who was said to be the "best sister of honor" during the toasts, as well as Elizabeth and Chelsea. These girls were so fun! Stephanie, a close friend of Brooke's was also a bridesmaid. Rob had his brother, Rick, as his best man. During the reception we were entertained as Rick broke out and rapped to "Ice Ice Baby". It was hilarious! Terry, Joel, Kent and Bob rocked it as the groomsmen. They had matching socks and personalized flasks with their name. Oh, and they had the cutest ring bearer...their dog, Diego. They tied their rings to his collar as he ran down the aisle :)

Leading into the night, Debbie's Catering made sure every guest was provided with a delicious Mexican style inspired dinner. Big Ern Productions had everyone on their feet dancing away those tacos! The Bride and Groom did a cake smash contest, aka: cake to the face. They each had a jar and throughout the night the guests tipped whoever they wanted to see get cake smashed! Brooke ended with $800 and Rob with $1,000! Caked up Delights made a delicious cake for Rob to get smeared all over his face ;)

The Bride and Groom enjoyed their honeymoon in the sunshiny Cabo. We had such a great time capturing this couple's unique day! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kerr!

Yakima Wedding at Cascade Garden // Adrianna + Matthew Vargas

Yellow, Lavender and Champagne Wedding

On April 14th, Tavis and I photographed Adrianna and Matthew's wedding at the ever so lovely Cascade Garden in Yakima. April weddings are awesome because the foliage is so springy! Sometimes when I am at weddings I get the feeling that the couple totally completes each other. Not in some cheesy "you complete me" greeting card sort of way...but in the way that I can't imagine any other person as their life match. I first met Adrianna and her family in 2009 when we photographed a wedding anniversary. It was great seeing everyone again and celebrating on this joyous day!

Yellow, lavender and champagne were featured as the wedding colors. Perfect for this time of year. It is always fun to see how they incorporate them! The bridesmaids dresses were purchased from David's Bridal, but were very different from most I have seen. They had a really pretty pattern up top that correlated with the wedding colors! A unique aspect of this wedding was the ceremony. The Bride sang a SURPRISE song to her mother and it was so touching. She has a great voice! It was also fun because the venue owner's chickens were walking around the yard enjoying the ceremony as well. We loved hearing all the great things their family and friends had to say about the couple during toasts. It made me smile :) Adrianna and Matthew, thank you for choosing us to capture your special day! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Vargas!
