Naches Wedding at American Homestead // Leigh + Jeff Salmon

Dust and Steel Blue Wedding

Keith and Cloey photographed Leigh and Jeff's wedding at American Homestead in Naches on June 2nd. What a gorgeous day for these two to get married. The weather was perfect, the people were great, and love was in the air! We were thrilled to see American Homestead recently built a bunkhouse to include in their already amazing venue :) It is a very ideal location for the guys to get ready. The Bride and Groom are from the west side. They met at a bar 3 1/2 years ago, and have been together ever since! They enjoy hiking, snowmobiling and camping together. Did you notice they are both redheads? Yah, it was awesome and adorable!

Leigh chose to incorporate something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue into her wedding details. That is always a great way to personalize details. We also loved that she wore cowgirl boots! You can't go wrong with staying comfortable! Plus it made walking around for couples portraits easy :) This couple was so easy going! Jeff was cracking jokes all day. He even left his vest open for pictures. Don't worry -  Leigh approved!

Naomi, the bride's best friend, was her maid of honor. She also included her sisters, Amy, Jessica and Krista. As well as her good friend, Tina. These girls were huge supporters of Leigh and Jeff! Michael, the Groom's best friend, was his best man. Jeff's friends, Danny, Kenny, Jeremy and Ryan were all groomsmen. What an awesome bridal party! Michael had a truly impressive toast prepared...he wrote a poem. It was hilarious, and yet heartwarming at the same time! They have known each other since they were three, so as you can imagine he had lots to say! Naomi also gave a heartfelt toast. She has been friends with Leigh for over a decade. She ended on an emotional note as she tried recapping their friendship.

They had personalized wedding coozies made for guests to take home that were combined in the table decor. The entire bridal party was gifted personalized cups too! This couple decided to go with an ice cream bar instead of a big cake and/or cupcakes for their reception. Jeff's sister, Jamie, made a small carrot cake so they would have something to cut :)

Leigh and Jeff will be spending their honeymoon in Mexico. We had such a wonderful time capturing this monumental day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Salmon! Prosser Wedding at Airfield Estates // Amanda + John Zabell

Gold, Navy and Rose Wedding

Tavis and Amy photographed this wedding on May 12th at Airfield Estates, located in Prosser. It felt like a little getaway, but wasn't too far from Yakima! The venue was absolutely perfect for Amanda and John's wedding day! The whole atmosphere was dreamy. They had an awesome wine barrel backdrop at the reception...not to mention the romantic feel put in place from all the string lights and many candles throughout!

The Bride and Groom have been together for six years. They have two beautiful daughters, Aubree, age four, and Reagan, age three. You could tell Aubree and Reagan were loving being the flower girls. They even had matching dresses! The family was so darling. Speaking of family, instead of having a wedding cake, different families made pies for dessert! The homemade pies were displayed so lovely on two ladders and wood tables in between.

Saundra, Kayla and Raelyn, Amanda's sisters, were all included in the bridal party. Along with Laura, her best friend. I love when the bridesmaids are willing to do whatever for the Bride. The girls had fuzzy socks with their bridal role on the bottom. It was awesome! They were so fun to spend the day with! John had his brother, Davey, and friends, Jason, Cole and Butch as his groomsmen. This bridal party was just a blast! Saundra's son, Wyatt, age three, was the ring bearer and as he walked down the aisle, he covered his eyes to block to sun. It was adorable!

My two favorite quotes of the day were:
  • When we were doing family photos I called out a few names and John said, "News team! Assemble!" A memorable quote Ron Burgundy says in Anchorman...made my heart happy.
  • Amanda had so many bugs stuck in the layers of her dress. She said, "I have every bug in Prosser in my dress." :)
We had such a wonderful time capturing Amanda and John's wedding day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Zabell!

Yakima Wedding at Cascade Garden // Lindsay + David Schulz

Eggplant and Silver Wedding

Tavis and Amy photographed Lindsay and David's wedding on May 6th at the gorgeous Cascade Garden in Yakima. The day was presented with rain showers, but Tavis and Amy worked to shelter the Bride and Groom as much as possible! Umbrella's were contributed as well :) The venue was perfect as there are a few buildings on the property to stay covered under, and the massive amount of greenery helped too! After photographing their engagement session last year, we were so thrilled to be capturing their love for one another yet again!

Lindsay and David have known each other since high school. Lindsay attended CWU for school, and a temporary job brought her to Yakima. They have been together for four years, and say they love the Yakima Valley! Their first look was so touching...lots of happy tears. He said something along the lines of, "you look so beautiful. I can't believe I get to marry you today". All of his words to her during the first look were just so heartfelt and meaningful! Later on, they danced to "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" as their first dance. It was easy to see they were meant to be together!

The bridal party consisted of all family. Reesa, the Bride's sister, was her maid of honor. The Groom's sister in law, Rashell was her bridesmaid. Greg, the Groom's father, and his brother, Matt, were the groomsmen. Everyone was so supportive of this marriage! After the ceremony, Staci's Catering provided a delicious dinner.

The happy couple spent their honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We wish them a blessed marriage! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Schultz!
