Yakima Wedding at Cascade Garden // Sarai + Jaysson

Navy Blue, White and Gold Wedding

Tavis and Amy photographed this wedding ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral, and the reception at Cascade Garden on August 4th. We had a really fun time taking photos of Sarai and Jaysson throughout the day! Including their family and bridal party. You could tell everyone was in favor of these two getting married :) We took them across the street at Cascade Garden to the hop fields for some portraits. If you ask me, this is the best month for portraits in hops!

Fashion Corner fitted Sarai to a gorgeous wedding dress. And I must say, her shoes were my personal favorite from her bridal look. They were so cute!! Gasperetti's Floral designed a gorgeous bouquet as usual for Sarai and her bridesmaids. Leading into the reception, D'lish Catering provided a yummy dinner. Then, Pristine Entertainment had everyone on their feet dancing off all that food! It was an unforgettable night full of love, and endless laughter. Congratulations Sarai and Jaysson!

Selah Wedding // Jackie + Austin Peyser

Tavis and I photographed this wedding on July 21st in Selah, WA. Jackie and Austin are all about family. Three generations of Peysers (Austin's family) live on the same road out in the Wenas, which was where this incredible day took place. Starting out, we did getting ready photos at Austin and Jackie's house. Then, we went up the road to his grandparents' house for the first look and photos. For the ceremony and reception we all ended up at Austin's parents' house. It was a gorgeous property!

One of my favorite moments throughout the day was the ceremony. It was the most interactive I have ever witnessed! People were laughing, hootin' and hollering...it was perfect! Jackie and her dad walked down the aisle to the song, "I Will be Here" by Steven Curtis Chapman. I also had that song at my wedding. I love it! The Bride and Groom chose to plant a tree with soil that was gathered from several areas that are meaningful to them. It was very sweet.

As you can tell, these two are obviously meant for one another. Another fun detail from their wedding was the date; July 21st, marks six years since their first date. They actually went to her dad's house and he had a dating contract...talk about commitment! Haha way to go, dad! The Bride must get her hilarious ideas from her dad. She played a joke on her bridesmaids that I got to be in on. Jackie bought a dress that everyone saw. She changed her mind, and bought a new dress, but no one except her maid of honor knew! When I brought the dress out she said, "that's not my dress...that is the wrong dress!" to freak everyone out. I have never seen a Bride do that before, so it was lots of fun!

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Naches Wedding at American Homestead // Cortney + Colby White

Teal and Gold Wedding

Hey! Cloey here. On July 14th, Keith and I photographed the charming marriage between Cortney and Colby as they celebrated with their family and friends. American Homestead proved to be the perfect venue for these two, with guests coming from all over. It's so ideal to have the campsite, cabin and bunkhouse for guests to stay at! The Bride and Groom were refreshing to photograph, as a couple that loves Jesus and wanted him to be a main point. One of my favorite moments from the day was before their first look they wanted to have a prayer over them. They stood at a corner on the cabin, held hands without seeing each other, and her twin brother, Kyle, said a prayer. It was such a sweet moment.

Cortney and Colby are the kind of people that are friends with everyone. Even though this was only my second time talking with Cortney, I feel like we are old friends! She is such a peach, and has a heart of gold. It was clear to see both families get along very well :) This is always such a blessing! It really was like the two families were joining together with the Bride and Groom. The Bride's parents, Kim and Paul, were so helpful throughout the day; there for their daughter at her every need! Cortney's great grandfather passed away when she was 16. He had a 1972 olive green truck that her dad got up and running. Kyle drove it over, and we were able to incorporate it into a few portraits!

There was so much detail put into this wedding. Kim had a big part in all of that! She bought a cute little teal couch to use for pictures and they also sat on it during dinner. Colby informed us that the napkin rings were made out of PVC pipe and painted sparkly gold. You would have never guessed! With six years together under their belt, obviously many memories came from that. There were a few prom photos hanging in the reception. Naturally, we had to recreate those during their couple session! My Garden Over Floweth, based out of Paterson, WA, designed the gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres. They actually grow their own flowers, which is really unique! We went on a little adventure with the Bride and Groom down to the river. Cortney was a total trooper hiking in her wedding dress from The White Dress Bridal Boutique in Portland and Betty Johnson chunky heeled, sparkly, blush shoes!

Guys, this was such a fun group of people. Seriously, during the reception they KILLED it on the dance floor. The bridal party was all about celebrating! The song, "Cotton Eyed Jo" came on, and the guys started taking off their shirts. Everyone was laughing so hard!! Jon with Good Vibrations had the girls and guys do a sing off to "Summer Nights" from Grease. The guys won and he gave them funny hats to wear!

We had such a wonderful time capturing this lovely day for Cortney and Colby. They will be honeymooning in the warm and sunny Florida! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. White!

Benton City Wedding at Terra Blanca Winery & Estate Vineyard // Gaby & Jose Serrano

Blush, Grey, and Mint Wedding

Rhiann and Haley photographed this wedding on July 14th at Terra Blanca Winery and Estate Vineyard. After being together for seven years, since her senior year at West Valley, Gaby and Jose finally tied the knot! It was obvious that family is everything to these two. Linda, the Bride's mother, along with another family member, wore pins on their dresses to honor loved ones who had passed away. Jose's best man, Michael, has been his best friend for years. They consider each other family. He had everyone laughing during his toast!

All the decorations were flawless. You could tell a lot of thought went into everything. A stand out amongst other weddings was the amazing balloon creations by Amer Clark with Up Balloon Boutique. They were absolutely sensational! The garter was made from the bride's grandma's wedding dress. My Garden Over Floweth crafted elegant bouquets for the Bride and bridesmaids. They did such a wonderful job!

Big Ern Productions had everyone on their feet dancing through the night! During the garter toss, most of the guys catching the garter acted like they were going to fight over it, but once it was tossed they parted like the Red Sea and left one guy standing with it. Classic! TC Cake Art made a stunning cake and cupcakes for dessert. Boy, were they delicious!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Serrano!
