Toppenish Wedding on Historic Polo Property // Lucia + Jon

Cabernet, Dusty Rose and Navy Wedding

Keith and Cloey photographed the marriage between Lucia and Jon on September 8th. The wedding was held at their property out in Toppenish; they were informed it actually used to be a polo field. Absolutely breathtaking views of the mountain, and gorgeous scenery surrounding their darling home. Speaking of their home...just this past June the couple started renovating it. They finished putting in the flooring the night before the wedding. Talk about dedication!

As high school sweethearts, Lucia and Jon waited ten years before tying the knot. You could tell their family and friends were ready for them to make this big move! They have 4 dogs, all of which were present at the wedding. However, one in particular was quite obsessed with Lucia; Chico, a Maltese/Terrier. He was laying (hidden) on the train of her dress during family portraits. So adorable! Essentially, Lucia and Jon are a power couple. They turned their home into a dreamy, country wedding venue. Hay bales were used as an option for seating during the ceremony, a sweet dance floor was made for the reception, which by the way was a total party with a mariachi band and DJ. On top of everything, all the decorations were done by Lucia and her friends.

As the sun starting to set, Jon's friend grabbed their 20 year old horse, Charlie, to incorporate into sunset portraits. It was a total fairy tale! These two were already pure love, but the horse brought it to another level. Wedding portraits on their property, with their horse at sunset. Swoon worthy!

We loved photographing this monumental time for Lucia and Jon. Congratulations to the happy couple!
