Kylie & Michael's country engagement session

Twice the bridesmaid and now she's the bride!! Kylie was a bridesmaid in two of the weddings we photographed last year so finally it's her turn to have us as her photographers. :) This couple came to Yakima from Quincy for their engagement session and we had another beautiful overcast day to work with. We went to few of my new favorite locations around East Valley but we also spent some time in downtown Yakima and at Randal Park. LOVED her cute outfits; they went perfectly with these locations. After all these recent engagement sessions it's inspiring me to add some of my favorites to our website portfolio!

Christina & Brandon's Engagement Sneak Peek!

Overcast skies made for nice even lighting around the valley on Saturday afternoon. We explored from East Valley to West Valley and snagged some quite beautiful shots! Christina & Brandon now have their home in Western Washington, but 7 years ago we were all about to graduate from WVHS together! It's fun to catch up with old classmates years down the road and we're delighted to be a part of their Yakima wedding later this summer. Happy engagement!

I just have to say something really quick about this next image.... We always ask our couples, "so are there any shots or ideas you really had your heart set on for this session?" and Brandon's like, "yea, actually, I was really hoping to get a shot like this" (see below) We were happy to take this dream shot for you Brandon :)

Max & Alli's Engagement Sneak Peek

406 days and counting until these two tie the knot! I've known Max and his family since I was very young- We lived on the same street way back when! My main memories of him are playing hours and hours of super mario world together when I was like 7 or 8. Our families have kept in touch throughout the years and now I'm honored to photograph one of the best days of his life next year! Max and Alli have been together for about 3 1/2 years now... they started dating at the beginning of their freshman year at SPU. Now they're graduating and planning a wedding for July 2013!
